Talk to the person who makes the app
Write to contato@mialera.app. I answer within 2 business days, myself.
Tell me which phone you use (model and system version) and what you expected to happen. That saves a round trip.
Blocking is not working on iPhone
- Check that you granted the Screen Time permission: iPhone Settings → Screen Time.
- See whether the goal is on and whether the right apps are selected in it.
- A schedule goal only acts inside the window and on the days you marked.
Blocking is not working on Android
Android does not let one app truly block another: Mialera covers the app you limited, and it needs three permissions turned on to do that. If any of them goes off, blocking stops.
- See your screen time: Settings → Apps → Special access → Usage data access → Mialera.
- Appear on top: Settings → Apps → Special access → Appear on top → Mialera.
- Know which app opened: Settings → Accessibility → Installed apps → Mialera → turn on.
- Battery: some phones turn the service off to save power. Under Settings → Apps → Mialera → Battery, pick “Unrestricted”.
- Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO: also turn on “Display pop-up windows while running in the background”, under Settings → Apps → Mialera → Other permissions.
Menu names change a little from one manufacturer to another. When a permission goes off, the app's home screen says which one and takes you straight to Settings to turn it back on.
I need to open an app the goal is holding
The block screen has no release button: a time goal holds until the turn of the day. Inside the app you can raise the cap or pause the goal. If it is marked as sealed, it goes all the way, which was the deal you made when you turned sealing on.
Subscription, billing and refunds
- Cancel on iPhone: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mialera.
- Cancel on Android: Play Store → your photo → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Mialera.
- Restore a purchase: in the app, under Settings → Restore purchases. It works on both stores.
- Refund on iPhone: Apple is the one that processes it, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no access to the payment.
- Refund on Android: within the first 48 hours, ask Google Play directly, at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. After that, write to support with the order number (it starts with GPA).
- I subscribed and Plus did not show up: tap “Restore purchases”. If it persists, write to support with the date of the purchase.
I switched phones
With a Mialera account, your streak, treats, Bento, history and Mialera+ come along: on the new phone, tap “I already have an account” on the first screen (or sign in from Profile). Your goals and app selection do not come, because they depend on the device: you set them up again in a minute. The account works on one phone at a time.
Without an account, your goals and history stay on the old device, and you start from scratch on the new one. The subscription follows your store account (Apple ID or Google account): tap “Restore purchases”. It does not move between stores without a Mialera account: if you subscribed on iPhone and switched to Android (or the other way around), sign in to the same Mialera account on both. If it gets stuck, write to support and we will sort it out together.
I want to delete my data
Delete the app and what is on the device goes with it: goals, history and the usage measurement identifier. If you created an account, delete it first, in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account) or as the deletion page explains. What stays with the store, RevenueCat, PostHog and Meta is in the privacy policy. To ask for that data to be deleted, write to contato@mialera.app.
